Station Name: Lafayette 4.5 SE
Report Date: 3/29/2026
Submitted: 3/29/2026 7:39 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
We received only a trace of rain this week with our ponds, streams, and creeks all normal. Dry enough to spread a little fertilizer this week and almost dry enough to work in the garden. Early spring flowers and bushes are either blooming or past blooming and storing energy for next spring. Pasture and yards look good. Apple trees and blueberries blooming, lots of honey bees and some bumble bees working them. Cattle look good and seeing lots of wildlife. We especially enjoy hearing the turkeys down in the holler and on out the ridge each morning and late evening.Timber looks to be recovering from the January ice storm. We are thankful.
