Dry conditions continue even with the little rain this week.  Shoal Creek is lowering again and unusually warm temperatures are pushing early blooming. Dogwood trees are nearing full bloom although many spring flowers early blooms were cut off by the hard, nearly record cold temperatures. Fire danger is elevated throughout the area with high, gusty winds. Trees are budding out and grass is turning green is most areas but lack of rain is becoming an issue. Deer and other wildlife are very active.
