For the week 3/22-3/27 2026 ----- EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES at Data collection: Aurora : 29, 22, 32, 32, 35, 14, 16 ------- Kingsford: 29, 22, 32, 32, 35, 14, 16 ------- WATER CONTENT IN THE GAUGE ---- Aurora & Kingsford Both the same :3 traces and .05 & .01 total= .06"------- SNOWFALL: Aurora & Kingsford the same: 3 traces & .10 = .10" ------ SNOW DEPTH AVERAGES MEASURED: Aurora: 16.7, 16.1, 16.5, 14.4, 13.1, 12.5, 12.5--------- Kingsford: 15.4, 15.1, 14.7, 14.2, 13.1, 12.7, 12.2 ------ Natural wildfire risk is low ----- US Drought monitor has us as NORMAL . We were going at a pretty good clip as far as snow melting after Snowstorm Elsa but with these low temps, slowed to a crawl------ Not any puddling of water as the ground is absorbing the water nicely -----Slowly the snowbanks are receding and that includes along sides of the roads averaging around 2 feet ----- River has maintained an average height and safe water level and 70-75% below the 4' rock shoreline barrier I have on my property----- Lots of birds and this week had 2 swans on the river mingling with the mallards and hens. They are on the MI side of the river -----
