For the week 3/15-3/21 2026 ----- EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES at Data collection: Aurora : 25, 17, 4, 14, 23, 32, 31 ------- Kingsford: 25, 17, 4, 14, 23, 32, 31 ------- WATER CONTENT IN THE GAUGE ---- Aurora :.23, 1.90, .30, .02 total= 2.45" Kingsford:.22, 1.92, .24, .02  total = 2.40" ------- SNOWFALL: Aurora: 2.6, 18.5, 3, .20 = 24.3" & Kingsford: 2.5, 18.5, 2.4, .20 = 23.6"  ------ SNOW DEPTH AVERAGES MEASURED: Aurora: 12.8, 28, 32.9, 32.9, 23.9, 19.3, 17.9--------- Kingsford: 15.5, ?, 31.8, 31.8, 18.3, 16.3, 13.2 ------ Natural wildfire risk is low ----- US Drought monitor has us as NORMAL finally. Both towns are currently above their Averages with Aurora currently at 85.03" ( average is 50")to date of snowfall and Kingsford ( 50" average) at 85.50". ----- We have a lot of snow pack and probably more than we want at this time of the year but it is what it is----- Anyway, an Early Spring for us is ruined. ----- Did see my 1st ROBIN yesterday and heard one on Thursday as well. Friends of mine said they saw them last week. ----- Plenty of Cardinals, Blue Jays, Mourning Doves, Wild Pigeons, Ducks, Canadian Geese, Eagles, Osprey. Animals were really active yesterday afternoon as I also saw deer were out roaming about. ----- Funniest thing I also saw were snowmobiles on Highway N as people had backpacks on and snowmobiled to work 3/16 & 3/17 ( not kidding )
