Between the melted snowpack and over 4" of rain so far this month both the soil and our basement are moderately wet. We have standing water in our woods and garden area. Our Japanese Cyprus lost a number of it's lower leaves from being trapped in the snow/ice pack. All of our other shrubs and trees seem to have survived the Winter unscathed. Snowdrops and Daffodils are up. Witch-hazel is blooming. Fire danger is Low.
