Spring has sprung!  Peony shoots are up 5-6 inches, birds are singing, black raspberries are leafing out, and peach trees as well as forsythia are just starting to bloom.  Redbuds have buds and more daffodils are blooming now.  Tulip, daylily, and iris have shoots up as well.  It was super hot early this week then super cold  (the high one day was 84.4°F and the next day it was 59.6°F).  I had to run the air conditioning the hot day and the next day I had to turn on the heat.  Birds are not eating seed from the feeders as much, but with the upcoming snow in the forecast I suspect that will change.  Some of my neighbors have grass getting fairly tall and I bet they will be mowing this weekend.  What a crazy week!
