1.33” of rain last week falling on two different days - neither were severe storms. 0.66” of Evapotranspiration for last week. Temperatures were in the 70s and 80s for daytime highs and overnight lows in the 60s except for the weekend where it dipped into the 40s - very nice and Spring like. Trying to hold off on turning on the air conditioning but with the high humidity it’s getting tough. Continue under D1 Drought Status as well as Burn Ban. I was able to continue Spring gardening activities and I’m about to get behind as new season plant growth is excited to push up from the ground. The yard grass is getting green also - probably need to mow in about 2 more weeks. The soil has been good for weed pulling - weeds come out easily so not too dry - seems like the rain is soaking in well. My property is also getting quite active with bees, butterflies and ladybugs. The story for the week - Spring has arrived!
