As per email received from NOAA NIDIS dated 3/5/2026 Drought Condition worsened for my area to Category D1 Moderate Drought.  The month is starting out well with a trace and 1.23 of rain that fell on Friday the 6th Severe Event, weather radio went off a few times but no damage here.  Increase in birds, deer and squirrels.  Nice to have the windows open this afternoon with the temps being in the upper 60s.  More Spring Swing weather on the way so enjoy the good days while you can!  Overall Mood Happy for more Spring decent weather and looking forward to more chances of precipitation.  :):)
