Two snow/rain events at beginning of this month kept the ground moist. Warmer than usual temperatures causing early plant growth grass, shrubs, trees.  High yesterday warmest yet at 62°F, drying winds gusting to 25 mph for two days . Catkins out on Aspen and Birch. Snow gone and river rising. Geese and Herons have returned.
