Conditions here continue as moderately dry. Central North Carolina is still classified as in a moderate drought. Rainfall from the last week of February has helped, grass is becoming green, and the Haw River was flowing near bank full. Small streams are flowing again. Daffodils continue to sprout and bushes and trees have buds. The cherry trees started to bloom last week. the over weather is pleasant, many people are out walking and gardening.
