US Drought Monitor has both Aurora, WI & Kingsford, MI as abnormally dry --- Natural wildfire risk is low ----- Snow melting at a steady pace and puddles galore out in the low lying areas in yards and in alleyways and on the streets ----- river has swelled a bit and the middle is open but ice and snow present along the shorelines -----The large flock of ducks have scattered now that the river water has opened up. No sign of the 4 white swans this week. Our neighborhood deer are very healthy looking and many birds around like Blue Jays, Cardinals, Mourning Doves, Woodpeckers, Chickadees, Black Crows all at my feeder this week ----- No tourist traffic yet just the locals -----Don't forget to move your clocks ahead 1 hour to get back on daylight savings time ( wished they'd end this already) ----- Have a great week
