Our monthly total is within 0.03 inches of our monthly average.  The low wet spot is soft; capable of leaving a foot print.

The buds on the Forsythia bush are just starting to produce leaves.  What appears to be leaves are still wrapped around each other but a few more days and we should see its leaves unfurling.  The Holly bushes leaves are turning brown.  None of them looks healthy.  The Encore Azalea bush is producing flowers.  It too is not looking very healthy.  The prolonged drought may be starting to take its toll on some of our vegetation.

The big flock of Red-winged Blackbirds are still here along with our other winter time species of birds.
