Calendar year has started out with below normal precipitation but WY is near average.  

Month February: 1.33 inches precipitation (47.9% below average of 2.55); snowfall was 19.6 inches (20.7% below average of 24.7) (snowfall average based on the last 16 years average at my station).

YTD for the calendar year: Precipitation: 3.94 inches (29.3% below average of 5.57).  Snowfall: 49.9 inches (4.2% above average of 47.9); obviously the snowfall has been on the dry side.

YTD for the WY: Precipitation: 18.85 inches (9.6% above average of 17.19).

Some temperature notes for February: Lowest reading was -13.9F on 2/9 and the lowest high temperature was 3.4 on the day before. There were 10 days with below zero readings and 9 days with above freezing readings.  There were 25 straight days (1/22-2/16) with temperatures below freezing.
