With over 20” of snow and 2.16” SWE, conditions are near normal for the end of February.  The Pascoag Reservoir remains frozen over with people taking advantage to snow shoe.  The recent heavy snow has stopped people from skating though.  With warm temperatures expected today, there may be more activity on the lake.  Winter birds have been active but food is scarce due to the thick snowpack.  George Washington state park continues to post Low for fire danger.
