Big news this past week- Carolina Forest community had a fire and quick action put it out.  Last year they had a fire that burned for weeks, traveling underground.  We are not out of the woods but the recent rain has helped.  We even had a mushroom pop up on our sandy wooded section.  Garden prep last week involved removing roots from the planting beds, venturesome tree roots from oaks and pawlonia.
