The 1.54 inches of rain this week so far has been very helpful especially as most of it was over a fairly long period of time. But we’re still behind with just 1.81 inches for February and slightly less than 3 inches since January 1. Streams are still low. The warming weather is giving us our normal very early spring bloom with crocus, the earliest daffodils some flowering shrubs. Bird activity is really starting to be increased.  Winter vegetables like kale  that had to be covered a few weeks ago are now starting to put on some growth.
