WATER CONTENT IN THE GAUGE ---- Aurora : .23, .57, .21, .50 for a total of 1.51" and a trace day Kingsford: .23, .57, .15, .59 for a total of 1.54" and trace day as well ------- SNOWFALL: Aurora 1.5, 2.5, .50, 3.3 for a total of 7.8" & Kingsford : 1.5, 2.5, .3, 4.5 for a total of 8.8" ------ SNOW AVERAGES MEASURED: Aurora: 14.7, 14.2, 13.7, 14.0, 16.4, 16. 17.9 --------- Kingsford: 14.2, 13.4, 13.3, 14.5, 15.8, 15.2, 18 ------- Home Snow banks are averaging 4' high where shoveled or plowed in Aurora . Some even higher at local businesses of course.----- Animals- Ducks in abundance for over 2 weeks at an open patch of water on the west side of the Aurora Bridge--- Ford Dam's stream gauge acting up all week. Does that when there is a lot of ice -----Wild pigeons, Mourning doves, bluejays, black crows at the feeder this week and a squirrel in Aurora-----In Aurora Almost ran into a skunk at 3:40 this morning. At 1st I thought it was the neighbor's black cat I saw in the parking lot across the street until the smell struck me ----- snowmobiles this week in Aurora and it was nice to see. Even out last night----- Logging trucks, Propane trucks, HVAC and construction vehicles again this week ------ Natural Wildfire risk is low and we are Abnormally Dry according to the US Drought Monitor in both Aurora & Kingsford ------ Have a great week
