We had 0.96" of rain this week and 5" of snow remaining on the ground.  The warm WX has ushered in the mud season a bit early.  Rub soled Bean boots are useful in the woods.  The Conn. Drought monitor reports we are abnormally dry, but it doesn't seem like it.
