We got some rain and a thunderstorm earlier this week. Warm temps and the rain melted most of our snowpack, except piles from shoveling. They are almost gone. Snowdrops are starting to appear, one witch hazel is starting to flower but other trees and shrubs are still dormant. Birds continue to be active at feeders, no chipmunks yet. We do have squirrels. We are still below normal for precipitation for February.
