With 0.68” of gauge catch this week conditions remain near normal although leaning towards mildly dry.  The Pascoag Reservoir remains frozen over but due to recent snow, not much activity like skating or ice fishing this week.  Winter birds like blue jays, woodpeckers, chickadees and crows have been active this week and the bald eagle has also been around.  Trails at Sprague Farm remain covered in deep snow and still require snow shoes to get around.  George Washington state park continues to post Low for fire danger.
