The long, dry, hot season is upon us here in west central Florida—again this past week, we recorded only 0.13” inches of rain.  We’ve gone three months without significant rain. Area strawberry farmers are having to irrigate every other day and; our tourism business is booming; and outdoor “no burn” rules have been implemented. Looks like a long hot summer is ahead.
