Last evening's 0.19 inch of rain made the soil wet and has enhanced springtime plant growth.  Plants are healthy, trees are blooming, and pollen count is high - in the thousands, causing allergy problems.  Springtime winds are increasing, and next week is expected to bring strong wind with increasing fire danger.  Sandia Mountain snowpack is low, providing only limited skiing.  Our water supply is adequate.
