Just a few flurries this past week with no accumulation. Temps have risen so we are having some snow melt. Snow cover is down to about 90%, and our pack depth has dropped by about 3 inches. Still lots of birds at feeders, no chipmunks, a few squirrels. Seeing some bud break on the witch hazels, the rest of the trees and shrubs are still dormant. NO precipitation predicted for the next few days. February has been very dry, less than a quarter inch to date.
