Station Name: Glen Haven 0.4 WSW
Report Date: 2/14/2026

Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
For week of 08-14 Feb: (T+ T+ 0+ T+ 16.0+ 0+ 0)= 16.0+ T mm. Near Normal. High's: -4C, WCh -10C to +2C; -2C to -15C; Wind: calm to V, gusts to 30km/hr; Frost: 1 light frost, 1 heavy frost. This week saw a major all day/all night snowfall of 14.0cm, for a total SOG of 36cm. Very packy snow. The following days saw temp 0C to +2C, much melting, much patchy ice. Lots of blue sky and bright sun (due to Albido--reflection from SOG). Lots of deer tracks in back lot. Packy snow made it a challenge to get to my gauge, hard to trudge through. Inlet is covered with ice/snow, but not safe to tread on. Outside of our tree-shrouded area, roads are fairly clear. Still many piles of snow left by snow ploughs, especially in parking lots. SOG in back lot has a lot of ice underneath it. We might actually get a proper Spring run-off come March-April.
