The picture-perfect big snow last weekend and another this Saturday with gale winds almost shut down Mystic. Side streets minimally plowed, plow piles fill parking spaces, hazardous driving, below-zero wind chills kept people home and inside. A few squirrels and many Canada geese out & about; not much else except dog walkers. Luckily no power outages or broken tree limbs here. A good week for puzzles, books & the Olympics on TV.
