Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: MN-OL-131
Station Name: Rochester 8.2 SE
Report Date: 2/8/2026
Submitted: 2/08/2026 8:30 AM
Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
With .09" of precipitation observed at this station in the past week, conditions appear to be mildly dry. Due to temperatures at or just above freezing, the ice and snow cover has begun to melt and make a wet, sloppy mess out of outdoor paths and ground. Walking must be slow and cautious as ice is hiding in the shadows and under items that block the Sun. Water in unheated containers will stay liquid for much longer, making it much easier to help out wildlife. Hoping for more snow before the cold season is gone. We can do without the ice.
