After an early week Snowfall, followed by warming Temperatures, we ended up losing another 2.5” of Snowpack. It’s been little more difficult to obtain a sample core since the remaining pack is now mostly closer to Ice than Snow from previous mid-season melting and re-freeze. There were mostly bright Sunny days with a high Temperature reaching 42°. This is the first week I’ve noticed more standing water and run-off that now re-freezes over the night making a smooth, slick layer that a person could easily slip on. Streets and alleyways remain mostly just damp. The days are getting noticeably longer.
Forecast: Another mostly Sunny week with mild Temps with highs in the low 40’s and barely dropping below freezing overnight. A chance for a little Snow Shower towards mid-week and a Light Breeze through the days.
