Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: ID-BK-27
Station Name: Inkom 5.5 N
Report Date: 2/8/2026
Submitted: 2/08/2026 6:01 AM
Scale Bar: Moderately Dry
Description:
General: Dry. We've had no precipitation in February, and we are on track to have the lowest precipitation for any winter since 1998 (my uncalibrated data). I've pasted in a plot of these years.
Agriculture: There's still a smidge of snow on some fields. The lack of moisture is a concern for dryland farming.
Energy: Yesterday we produced 51.56 kWHR and only used 29.83 kWHR. It was a clear day and warm temperatures.
Fire: Low risk at this point.
Plants/wildlife: We still have Robins here, which is a first for this location. Of course, the creek is running, since we're not getting to freezing at night.
Water: As I mentioned, this is really worrisome. There's predicted snow next week, so fingers are crossed!
