Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: WA-KG-78
Station Name: Woodinville 0.9 ENE
Report Date: 2/7/2026
Submitted: 2/07/2026 8:11 AM
Scale Bar: Moderately Dry
Description:
Another well of warm sunny weather in Puget Sound area. This is so historically abnormal that it’s hard to put into words. It’s supposed to be chilly and rainy perhaps snowy every day, not warm and sunny. We were out riding our bikes like it’s a spring day. In February! Narcissus are starting to bloom weeks early. Camellia is in full bloom weeks early. The snow is visible missing from the Olympics and the Cascades. The impact is not immediate but it portends a year of severe water restrictions, raging forest fires on the WET SIDE of the state, and weeks of air polluted skies ahead this summer.
