It warmed this week enough to start melting the foot of snow we received almost two weeks ago. About 50% of the woods and fields are still covered. Slow melt so little runoff. Impoundments and small creeks are still ice covered. Wildlife needed this melt. 

The soil is still dry under the surface. I saw a hen yesterday making dust.
