For the week of 2/1-2/7 2026 ------- This week's snowfall total 3.35" for Both Aurora, WI & Kingsford, MI ------ SWE for both .11 ---- Both Towns/Cities Snow Depth is at 17.2" deep on average ----- Temps this week at observation times were -7, 19, 12, -7, 22, 30 & -1 Degrees Fahrenheit ----- Natural Wildfire risk is low ----- US Drought Monitor has us as Abnormally Dry ----- Snowmobile traffic low this week but construction trucks, HVAC, Propane delivery & Fuel oil trucks were in abundance ----- Deer and thriving and see a small herd walking daily across the river in 2 spots now ---- An open spot on the river by the bridge has been an invitation to both ducks and a huge flock European Starlings during the late mornings and afternoons ----- Wild Pigeons have been hanging out behind Storheim's & Walmart in Breitung ----- Pretty soon the groundhogs will appear in mine and my neighbor's yards ----- Have great week everyone
