Station Number: RI-PR-135
Station Name: Pascoag 0.5 SSW
Report Date: 2/7/2026
Submitted: 2/07/2026 7:19 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
With only 0.18” of SWE this week, conditions have returned to near normal. The snowpack remains deep at 10.5” and 1.85” SWE. The Pascoag Reservoir is completely frozen over and we saw our first ice fisherman of the year earlier this week. With continued cold conditions, winter activities on the lake should be in full swing this weekend. The deep snowpack has made it easy to spot deer, squirrels, etc. passing through the area. Chickadees, blue jays, bluebirds, crows, finches and woodpeckers have been very active this week. George Washington state park continues to post Low for fire danger.
