D1 drought continues, mostly long-term, with mildly dry and slowly improving short-term. Snowpack is good for skiing and other snow sports. Deer and wildlife using trails, probably due to ice layers down deep. Local birds are active, have not seen migratory birds or visitors from the north lately. Tourism is fair. Water supplies are ok, and snowcover should water the trees enough to allow a normal maple syrup harvest.
