Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: MN-MC-7
Station Name: Silver Lake 1.7 N
Report Date: 2/2/2026
Submitted: 2/01/2026 6:12 PM
Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
We had a little snow last night, but very little. Our total liquid (melted) precipitation for January was under a half inch, which definitely suggests very little snow total. The only thing that has kept any snow on the ground is the cold temperatures.
I am running out of things to say about whether it is wet or dry. Because it is frozen, there really isn't much going on. As it warmed up lately, I have been able to see lots of animal footprints - especially cats and rabbits, but also raccoons and possibly an opossum. And many many birds, and some deer.
