Bitterly cold over the past few days. Fortunately missed the brunt of Winter Storm Fern 1/24-1/26. Minimal ice accumulation of approximately 0.1 inches which melted quickly as temps rose and rain fell and melted the accumulated ice. No damage to trees or downed power lines. Creek flows seem stable as storm dumped a total of 1.90 inches off precipitation on the area. Cold weather to continue for the remainder of the week. Rhododendrons leaves are curled very tightly to protect the tree from the cold and preserve moisture.
