Again, we are experiencing drought like conditions except that this is winter time and the impact is not as great as if it were in our warmer seasons.  This month we have received 1.02 inches of precipitation where we normally see 3.65 inches on average.  We are dry.  The rest of the month is forecast to be dry.  Therefore, we are in drought like conditions.

The very cold weather and snow are driving birds to our feeders and bird baths.  We have seen two flocks of Cedar Waxwings pass through our property so far this month.  Our feeders are very active.
