Cumulative liquid and melted precipitation remain below normal for December and January, but with 1.20 inches of liquid in the record daily snowfall of 9.5 inches over the past 36 hours, moist antecedent conditions from October and November, and very low winter drying rates, it is difficult to justify anything but a near normal classification. Still, stream flows remain low and we could use more moisture.
