More snow early in the week brought the snowpack to 6 inches but precipitation for the month remains below normal. Cold weather late in the week has iced over much of Bassett Brook and smaller feeder streams. There is not yet enough snow on Mt Greylock trails to support snowmobiles, but heavy snow is forecast for today and tomorrow. Tracks in the snow show activity by deer, coyote, fox, porcupine, opossum, turkey, rabbits and squirrels.
