very cold the only precipitation of late was lake effect light fluffy snow. Animals are still moving although late in the day. Deer seemed to be moving in daylight more and earlier in the afternoon. The extreme cold weather warnings scared off the tourist trade even snowmobilers ,the town was a ghost town. Local lake had no ice fishermen no smoke from the shacks even.  Cold weather brought really dry air outside and inside.
