With approximately 0.50" or more of water equivalent on the ground, the conditions can be considered near normal.  The center of the yard is presently frozen, but this is considered normal for this time of year.  The sump pump is presently activating every couple of hours or so, but the long duration is mainly due to the fact that the ground is frozen, and the water is slow to get to the sump crock.
