Today the soil is wet with puddles due to 0.27 inches of rain yesterday and last night, and 0.11 inch so far today.  The January precipitation total (including today so far) is 0.99 which is twice the January NOAA normal of 0.50.  Conditions are improving from the previous mildly dry.  The weather is too cold and wet for wildfires to form.  Our water supply is adequate.
