Received several inches of precipitation during the month of December and beginning of January. Very dry and cold the last week and a half. Cold temps suck the moisture out of the soil. Very dry for mid-January, feels like March. Very little snowpack in higher elevations. Air stagnation warnings for last 2 weeks. Inversions in the valleys.
