Description:
Much below normal temperatures this past week with plenty of light snow. 
(13 JAN to 19 JAN) 

Precipitation for the period was 0.45”. -0.04” for the period. 
Cal yr 1.68, +0.34” above annual seasonal normal. 

Snow: 7.5”  +4.0” for the period. 
Snow Season: 29.9”. +7.2” above for the season
Snow Depth Average: 2.4”. 

Frost Depth under sod: 1.6”
Frost Depth under bare ground: 2.0”

Temperatures averaged 21.1 degrees, -1.4 below normal for the period.  

Soil temperatures, for the period, at 2” have averaged 32.0 degrees, 4” average is 34.1 degrees, 8” average is 35.7 degrees and 20” average is 37.9 degrees. -1.5 overall decrease, on average, from the previous period. 

Temperatures shifted cold, considerably, once again, from last week with the average temperature rising -14.8 degrees from last week. (35.9 to 21.1)    Frost depth returned to 2”. 

The birds have returned to the bird feeder with more snow pack and frozen ground, around the two seed stations and suet stations. Squirrels and bunny rabbits are out as well each day.
