Another week of extremely light rainfall—I measured only 0.18” of rainfall spread over the last seven days. Lawns are turning brown and the lack of rain is surely affecting our daily lives.  Tourism remains strong—especially along the Gulf Beaches—and area strawberry farmers are hoping their man-made irrigation efforts will produce a bumper crop in a few weeks.
