It has been snowing lightly off and on all day. It has also been blowing, so sometimes it's hard to tell if it's snowing or not.
I hope that the snow will help insulate tree and bush roots from the low temperatures we are forecast to have this week, but I don't think there was really enough snow to be useful. 
Animals still seem to be getting around, judging by the number of footprints I saw this morning before the snow. Both small and large animals had been busy - raccoons and rabbits are the large ones while birds and mice were the small ones. 
From time to time, I can tell that some farmers have been out spreading manure on their fields, but most of them are stockpiling it for warmer weather.
