The creek water level is a little low but has been rather stagnant this week during the lack of new rainfall. The creek surface was observed frozen in many places yesterday. Some stagnant small ponds where ducks are usually seen in the water also temporarily lost surface area duck habitat when the water was frozen. Some fire danger advisories were issued last week and indoor static electricity increased reflecting the dry air.
