0.03” plus a Trace was all the precipitation we received last week. Temperatures ranged from highs of 50s through 70s and lows of 30s up to 61 degrees one morning and every thing in between. Currently under D0 drought status and Hunt County is now under a Burn Ban. No rain in the two week forecast either. Noticeable cracks in the dry ground now - some big in places. My garden perennial plants have started coming back up from the ground - with the mild temperatures they think it is Spring. I’m going to have to water them which I thought I wouldn’t need to do for several more months. Wildlife seem to be ok. I’ve been keeping the bird baths full as I know water source is scarce for them. With the mild temperatures I’ve still been able to enjoy outside exercise walking and biking activities. That’s the story for last week - dry conditions.
