My SW Ohio area continues to struggle with prolonged dryness or drought.  It's been more than a year, perhaps two, that this trend has been in place.  January is almost half over and we have almost two-thirds of an inch of measurable precipitation.  My neighborhood seems to always be on the edges of any rain or snow front.
