In recent months we notice frequent air quality levels being reported as “moderate”, often in the 50 and sixty values. We know we had prescribed burns announced by authorities in the area. The air quality was rated 56 this morning. We assume this being related to the huge amounts of fallen trees in the Asheville and WNC area stemming from Hurricane Helene on Sept. 27 and 28, 2024.
