We are continuing to see the effects of almost no precipitation over a longer period of time. The pond is now dry with no water remaining in it. The stream has some standing water remaining (see picture) but nothing is flowing in it.  The fallen pine needles have completely obscured what grass was on the ground and when the grounds crew blew the lawn area clear we discovered great bare patches with grass no longer growing there. The deer and howling coyotes continue to make their presents known. Daffodils are sprouting around the campus but we have no flower buds yet.
